The goal of this project was to successfully conceptualize a trilogy of book covers using an ornate pattern for each, accompanied by an illustrated fantasy map. Creating the pattern was enjoyable and also the most challenging. The patterns and supporting visuals were given depth and texture using layer styles. The Story was also originally created and each blurb at the end tells what is going on next. This project was both fun and challenging. It was really fun to make the map and let the inner nerd out, that was the highlight of it all.
